James McEvoy.  Born 1859 in Wisonsin.  James was the son of Michael Martin McEvoy born in Ireland and Julia McEvoy also born in Ireland. Martin and Julia split when James was just an infant.   Martin married Celeste and they moved to northern Wisconsin where they had several children of their own. Julia moved two New York around 1860 with James and his sisters. Julia left all of the girls with a relative in new York.  She then met and married James Morrow and returned to Wisconsin bringing only James home.  They settled on a farm in Dodge County and Julia and James had one son together named Peter Morrow, James' half-brother.  James was a fireman for the Milwaukee Railroad. James married Amelia Heckendorf June 16, 1890 in Horicon Wisconsin and they had four sons and a daughter. He died in Milwaukee in 1949 and was intered at Arlington Cemetary lot 236 block 23.
