WHY DO I NEED THE PASSWORD AND HOW TO I GET IT?
This site is mearly a portal the main site containing over 3000 individuals. Since I put up this site, I have had over 300 visitors and only 6 have signed the guestbook and only 3 have contributed information. While I will always give the password to interested parties, you must first fill out the About You tab on the left. The password will then be e-mailed to you (usually the same day) and you will have full access to the site. I did not want to restrict access this way, but in addition to providing information, this site was intended to gather missing information and up to now it has been a one way street. I had hoped that persons visiting would volunteer info rather than just use it to build their own tree. You can make this site even better by contributing. It is not required but is appreciated. Also, once you have filled out the "About You" tab you will recieve a news letter by e-mail every few months. I hope all understand the reason behind this change. It is not intended to restrict access as much as it is to better the site.
Once you are on the main site and have used it, please take a moment to sign the guestbook and share your thoughts on your experience. This will help me make improvements. If you notice any errors or omissions, please send an e-mail to the administrator using the link provided at the top of the main site.
I HAVE MY PASSWORD, NOW WHAT?
Once you have the password, use the Family Tree button on the left and follow the links to the main site. On this site you can view and copy 100's of pictures and historical documents, generate personalized reports, determine relationships, create, view and print family group sheets, decendency reprots, ancestry reports and various other charts and graphs to suit you. You will also find links to other useful sites. Instructions on how to use these features are provided on that site. If, once on the main site, you wish to return to this site, simply click the link that says "Companion Site" and you will returned to this site.
